Not only is it a beautiful snorkelling destination, it’s also perfect for hiking and island-hopping. It was named “The World’s Best Island” for the second time in 2016 by Travel + Leisure.

You’ve probably heard of the Vietnamese Cat Ba Island. It’s the largest island of Halong Bay and it is just lovely. Sure, the central hub of the Island is framed by a chain of low-rise hotels, but the rest of the island is all caves, jungles and waterfalls.

Koh Rong – Thailand
With 43 kilometres of coastline, it’s no surprise that Koh Rong is blessed with some of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia. Koh Rong is located about 25 kilometres from Sihanoukville, in the Gulf of Thailand. This Island is as close to adventure as you can get: it has no roads and the only way to get around is on foot. There are a few marked hiking trails to the beaches, but most of the island is still thick jungle.

Pom Pom Island – Malaysia
Are you looking for a secluded island to kick back and relax? Pom Pom Island may be the island you’re looking for. Pom Pom Island is a small coral reef island with very rich tropical vegetation. It’s also known for its white sand coral beach and sky blue water. You can also spot some Green turtles and Hawksbill turtles on the island.

The Gili islands are situated in Indonesia. It’s only a boat ride away from Bali and it’s known for the vibrant bar and party scene. They have blue waters, white sands, palm trees, sun loungers and beach side huts. It’s a great place to surf, dive, and just relax.
